The DEI Changemaker Award is for an AAN member who has made a meaningful contribution within their academic institution by increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the neurology department.

• Applications open: June 25, 2024
• Applications close: October 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. CT

Benefits

• $1,000 prize 
• Complimentary registration to the 2025 Annual Meeting 
• The award will be featured at the 2025 Annual Meeting 
• 30-minute presentation at the 2025 Annual Meeting highlighting work being done 

Eligibility

• An actively certified neurologist  
• An active AAN member  
• Working at an Academic Institution 
• Residing in the United States 

Application Requirements

• A letter of recommendation 
• Curriculum vitae 
• Description of how you have increased DEI efforts within your academic neurology department (500 words or less)
